The many hundreds of spectators witnessed great competitive spirit and action from all the fighters present. From the spectator point of view they were able to watch Karate sparring and then watch Taekwondo sparring and then Jujitsu grappling.

The organiser, Grandmaster Gary Wasniewski 10th Dan, believes that this is “the future of all martial arts events”, that is why the 2006 TYGA World Open Championships has confirmed TV coverage and filming. So, if you want to be part of something really historic and see yourself of TV! get your club and individual entries in as soon as possible because there will be even more competitors on the 19th November 2006.

This years event saw some of the most hard fought and strong fighting spirit from men, women, boys, girls and teams competing.
The organisation was also superb with the event starting at 10am and finishing at 9pm. All the junior sections finished at 6pm, so no late finish for the children.

This has become a real family event with even first time spectators saying that the event was exciting, compelling and great to watch! With typical TYGA generosity all competitors received a commemorative medal and certificate just for entering the event.
